
How to actually keep people warm outdoors

But since the emitter gets scorching hot, we wrap everything in heavy-duty guards. Safety first, obviously. Built to survive the elements Outdoor gear takes a beating. Rain, humidity, salt air—it’s a lot. We use sealed gaskets and IP-rated housings to make sure moisture never touches the electrical guts. The elements themselves are encased in high-purity quartz glass because it doesn’t crack under extreme temperature swings. We even add a special coating to the tubes. This tweaks the heat so it’s absorbed by human skin rather than just warming up the concrete floor. It’s a small detail, but it makes a huge difference in how it feels. Getting it installed (and keeping it running) We don’t believe in making repairs a nightmare. These units are designed for quick drop-in replacements. If an element burns out, you can swap it for a new one using standard connectors without having to rip out the wiring.
