Here’s the thing about this 3-phase heater: we built it around a high-density quartz halogen lamp, and it runs off a 400V supply. The three-phase setup is the real hero, though. It spreads the electrical load evenly across three lines, so the current on each phase is way lower than what you’d get with a single-phase setup. That’s how we can pack a serious punch—2500W of concentrated heat—into a compact 300mm tube. And get this: you don’t need monster-sized wiring to make it happen. But that kind of power does mean the machine control system needs to be up to the task, handling both the thermal load and the electrical surge when it kicks on.
Built to last: The tube and the connectors.
We use a quartz tube with a special coating, designed to take the heat and handle the shock of rapid temperature changes. Inside, the halogen cycle keeps the filament stable, which means no unexpected burnouts and consistent output for the life of the lamp. Then there’s the R7s connector—a double-ended fitting that does its job perfectly. It makes a solid, linear contact and handles the high current without ever coming loose, even when things get shaky from heavy vibration. The whole thing is designed to be a simple, drop-in replacement for your standard industrial fixtures.
Heat, right when you need it.
This setup was made for industrial jobs that demand fast, focused heat. Think PET blowing, plastic welding, or drying lines. The shortwave infrared output gets right into the material, so you cut down on cycle times. Because it’s 3-phase, the heater runs cooler on the electrical side, which helps the components last longer. The trade-off? It generates a lot of heat in a small space. So, you’ll want to make sure the surrounding machinery has enough cooling or shielding to handle the radiant energy.
