It filters out those aggressive light waves. You still get all that cozy, skin-warming heat, but the light stays soft. It’s not about making it look pretty—it’s about making sure it&amp;rsquo;s safe to have in a room where people are actually relaxing.&#xA;&lt;strong&gt;Fighting the Humidity&lt;/strong&gt;&#xA;Steam is the enemy. That&amp;rsquo;s why we went with an IP55 rating. In plain English? It means the housing is sealed tight against dust and can handle water sprays from pretty much any angle.&#xA;We spent a lot of time sealing the internal wiring and sockets. If moisture gets in there, you get short circuits or a burnt-out filament. By locking the moisture out, the heater actually lasts.&#xA;&lt;strong&gt;The Honest Trade-off&lt;/strong&gt;&#xA;Here is the honest truth: when you filter light for safety, you lose a tiny bit of that raw, industrial &amp;ldquo;punch.&amp;rdquo;&#xA;An uncoated lamp might throw heat a few inches further, but it&amp;rsquo;ll blind you in the process. We think trading a sliver of distance for a safer, softer light is a no-brainer for a home.&#xA;Just a tip: if you&amp;rsquo;re installing these in a nursery or a commercial spa, double-check your mounting height. You&amp;rsquo;ll want to make sure the heat curve hits exactly where people are standing or sitting to keep things perfectly warm.&#xA;One last thing—make sure your electrician puts these on a dedicated circuit with proper grounding. Since they live in damp environments, it&amp;rsquo;s the only way to keep the chassis safe over the long haul.&lt;/p&gt;</description>
