Why Halogen, Why R7s
Inside that quartz tube is a halogen element that throws off intense shortwave infrared. That’s the kind of warmth that hits people and equipment directly, instead of wasting time trying to heat the whole room. Quartz handles the extreme filament temperatures, and it doesn’t crack when you switch the heater on and off again and again. Then there’s the R7s base. It’s an industrial connector that’s been proven in the field. Easy to wire. Solid in the socket. And it can take the vibration and constant switching that comes with a busy gym. The coating on the tube helps protect the surface and keeps hot spots from forming, which means you get a longer life out of it.
