What’s inside: halogen, coating, and a solid connection The halogen element inside the quartz tube keeps the filament temperature steady, so the radiant output stays consistent over time. A reflective coating on the tube pushes more energy forward—so you get stronger delivered intensity and less wasted heat spilling out the sides. And the R7s connector? It’s an industrial standard for a reason. It locks in fast, stays secure, and handles repeated heating and cooling cycles without working itself loose.
