This universal infrared lamp is a straight-up, drop-in swap for over 95% of blow molding machines worldwide. It gives you the raw heat you need for PET preforms, without forcing you to rewire half the machine.
Technical Deep-Dive
At the heart of it is a high-voltage, high-power design. It runs on 400V and cranks out 2500W, focused across a 300mm active length. That’s how you get the heat density required to bring PET preforms up to temperature fast. The high voltage isn’t just a random choice. It means you can use lower-amp wiring, which cuts down on voltage drop over distance and keeps the electrical footprint tight on the machine.
Material & Design
Inside, you’ll find a halogen-filled quartz tube—a proven way to deliver shortwave infrared energy. That spectrum gets right into the PET, heating it from the inside out, so you can shave time off each cycle. The tube is coated to shape the emission and protect the filament. For hookup, it uses standard R7s or Sk15 connectors—the same mounts the industry already relies on. So you can wire it and slide it in without hunting down custom brackets or adapter plates.
