Most ovens work by heating the air, which then—hopefully—heats your bread. It’s a slow process that wastes a ton of energy just to get the job done. We do things differently with 800W infrared lamps. Instead of fighting with the air in the oven, IR sends energy straight to the surface of the bread. It’s direct. It’s efficient. And it saves you a lot of headache. The magic of 800W When you’re baking at scale, you need a specific kind of heat to get that perfect crust. Resistance coils take forever to warm up, but these lamps? They hit peak power almost instantly. That means your pre-heat cycles get shorter. You aren’t sitting around waiting for the oven to catch up. Plus, because you’re spending less time heating empty air, your electricity bill actually starts to look reasonable. Built for the heat We use high-purity quartz for these tubes. Why? Because quartz doesn’t freak out when the temperature jumps up and down. Metal sheaths can struggle with that kind of stress, but quartz handles it easily. The best part is the control. Getting it onto your shop floor If you’ve got an old resistive system, these are pretty much drop-in replacements.
